The Rocket City eXperience (RCX), a division of MasterKey Solutions, LLC, is bringing a new exposition experience to Huntsville, AL in 2025.
Expos devoted to African American innovation, business, and culture have been around since 1895 when men of color from across the nation exhibited their wares in a 30,000 square foot building known as the “Negro Building” at the Cotton States and International Exhibition in Atlanta, GA.
During the 70s & 80s there were traveling expos for the African American community styled like the popular Home & Patio and the Southern Women’s Show.
Today many cities and towns host African American focused expos. Some have been in continuous operation, like the IBE - Indiana Black Expo, now celebrating in its 55th year in Indianapolis, IN. And new expos like the RCX are evolving to meet the changing needs of our communities in our rapidly changing world.
Using a format similar to Black Expo South that operates expos in South Carolina & Florida, we are excited to present The 2025 Inaugural Rocket City Black Expo in the “star of Alabama” - Huntsville/Madison. We look forward to a successful launch in September of this year and to many future years of innovation, growth and community success!
